Round and marquis-shaped aurora borealis (AB) clear rhinestones reflect light and play with color in this Christian Dior classic. The blue you see in the clear rhinestone centers is only the light dancing on the stones. Turquoise glass beads in rhodium setting. Clip-backs.
Blue glass tubes and chrome balls dangle from this Art Deco fringe necklace. Possibly French, it has lots of movement! This chrome necklace closes with an old style spring-ring clasp.
Schiaparelli's signature dentelle-faceted tourmaline rhinestones in blue/green rather than the usual watermelon color. Elaborately-decorated silver-tone setting. Push-in hidden clasp with safety chain. Another "statement" bracelet of substantial weight and style.
This carnelian necklace is a marvelous example of the wonderful German design and construction so typical of the period. The sterling silver oval frame set with two carnelians and marcasite accents also holds/hides the push-in clasp. The "S"-pattern chain is another characteristic of German Deco pieces. We have a pair of earrings and a bracelet, in the same style and materials, that coordinate well with this piece.
This Hobé demi-parure is spectacular! The large and elaborate brooch features oval topaz and round citrine rhinestones with trails of buds and flowers and leaves applied to the sterling ribbons. The gold-plated center flower and embellishments complement the stones. The brooch has a roll-over safety clasp; the matching flower earrings are screw-backs.
Clear crystal hoops are suspended from sterling silver findings in these Art Deco earrings. The original screw-backs were converted to sterling silver lever-backs for pierced ears by my expert jeweler. These earrings would look great with any of my clear crystal necklaces.
Frosted blue glass beads with metal disks and clear rhinestone rondelles strung on chain comprise this elegant and versatile necklace. "Bee hive" screw-in clasp.
Sterling silver links and mounts with scarabs of aquamarine, amethyst, carnelian and smoky topaz glass celebrate this quintessential Art Deco motif. This bracelet has a spring-ring clasp.
This necklace of deep red opaque glass beads with decorative chrome end caps and links is possibly a Jakob Bengel creation. It has a screw-barrel clasp.
