A pear-shaped amethyst cabochon and faceted blue-green topaz are linked with a round iris rhinestone that combines the two colors. Textured silver-tone scrolls finish the design on these stunning clip-backs. Another Schiaparelli masterpiece!
High-domed, faux amethyst cabochons are accented with faceted fuchsia or hot pink rhinestones and mounted among antiqued silver-tone leaves. This five-link bracelet has a fold-over clasp and safety chain. The mottled purple bullet-nose cabochon art glass is fantastic, and the contrasting colored rhinestones make this bracelet a truly exquisite piece from an amazing designer.
This Art Deco necklace with black glass and clear crystal beads is incredibly versatile. It can be worn long or short, because the necklace separates into two. You can wear just the largest beads in a 19" length or the small and narrow beads in a 15 1/4" length. It's like having three necklaces in one! Believe it or not, I found the necklace and the earrings separately. The original screw-backs were converted to sterling silver lever-backs for pierced ears by my expert jeweler. This set is incredibly versatile and of the moment.
Smooth and faceted black glass beads are highlighted by marbled-white and cream beads shaped like pebbles. A large, round, faceted black glass bead-topped clasp holds together the three strands of this elegant Post-war necklace by Hattie Carnegie. The color combination is versatile and timeless. Her glass beads were among the best!
This German Art Deco necklace with balls of chocolate brown glass and chrome, rectangular bars of chocolate plastic with chrome ends, and chrome links looks like the work of Jakob Bengel. This piece is smaller and more delicate in scale than most of his necklaces. This necklace closes with a spring-ring clasp.
Delicate sterling silver filigree is set with clear rhinestones in this charming Art Deco piece by Fishel, Nessler. The triangular-shape of the brooch is a repeated theme in the openwork. This pin closes with a roll-over safety clasp.
These fun Art Deco earrings are hard to describe. A faceted golden topaz (or deep citrine color) disc is sandwiched between two domed pieces that give a sparkling effect. The metal is silver-tone. These all-original earrings have screw-backs.
Molded glass that simulates carved jade is the drop in these lusciously-detailed Art Deco earrings. This all-original pair is silver-tone with screw-backs.
Milk glass beads interspersed with yellow and red glass fruits and green glass leaves form this whimsical Art Deco piece. It closes with a spring-ring clasp. At 17", this necklace is longer than most from this era.
This milk-glass-beaded triple-row wrap bracelet has faux mother-of-pearl plagues on each end decorated with brass filigree and flowers of tiny milk glass beads and diamanté. This lovely bracelet is probably from Japan, which produced a lot of very nice costume jewelry in the 1950s. This bracelet coordinates well with other milk glass pieces from the same era — scroll down to see them.
