Designed by William Hobé's sons, this Post-war set features layered amethyst and aquamarine rhinestones in a gold-plated setting. The contrasting colors and shapes make this brooch and clip-back earrings the right pieces for all seasons.
A single aquamarine rhinestone-centered flower is surrounded by flowers and leaves applied to the ribbons of the bow that forms this sterling silver Retro brooch by Hobé. An aquamarine rhinestone is at the center of each bow-shaped earring. The detail on these pieces is a superb example of the maker's craftsmanship. The brooch has a roll-over safety clasp, and the earrings are clip-backs. The same floral motif is used in Hobé's Aquamarine & Sterling Flower Bracelet.
This fun coil bracelet of faux baroque pearls with matching clip-back earrings by Hattie Carnegie goes with everything (both vintage and contemporary) and fits everyone. The design is timeless. The findings are gold-tone.
This Art Deco necklace with black glass and clear crystal beads is incredibly versatile. It can be worn long or short, because the necklace separates into two. You can wear just the largest beads in a 19" length or the small and narrow beads in a 15 1/4" length. It's like having three necklaces in one! Believe it or not, I found the necklace and the earrings separately. The original screw-backs were converted to sterling silver lever-backs for pierced ears by my expert jeweler. This set is incredibly versatile and of the moment.
This Retro set by Réja features domed discs of apple-green glass set in gold plating. The bracelet has a fold-over clasp with safety chain; earrings are clip-backs. A weighty piece worthy of the maker's name. The "R" in the maker's mark on the bracelet was stamped over a "D" (the company name was changed from Déja in 1941, so this piece was already produced when the name change occurred).
Each piece in this elegant set by Schiaparelli features a faceted citrine rhinestone surrounded by tiny pearls in an elaborate, antiqued gold-plated setting. Notice how the faceting of each citrine ― known as a dentelle ― forms an eight-pointed star design. Schiaparelli frequently used this type of rhinestone in her pieces. This brooch has a roll-over safety clasp; the matching earrings are clip-backs.
Graduated clear crystal disks and a faceted crystal-set sterling clasp make this necklace a knockout. The faceting reflects light beautifully. This necklace has substantial weight. The original screw-backs on the matching earrings were converted to sterling silver lever-backs for pierced ears by my expert jeweler. The original velvet case is included with this set.
This coral and gold brooch and earring set by Hattie Carnegie executes one of her common themes — florals — to perfection. The enameled leaves look as though they're blowing in the breeze. The detail is superb — even the backs of the brooch and earrings show the leaves' veins. A faux pearl adds a nice accent to each piece. The brooch has a roll-over safety clasp; the earrings are clip-backs.
Coral, turquoise and pearl glass beads compose this bracelet and earring set by Hattie Carnegie. The colors are rich, and the turquoise has lovely veining. The three-strand bracelet has a push-in clasp; the clip-back earrings feature a cluster of beads. A great color combination for spring and summer.
Two large and two small flowers with emerald and clear rhinestone centers are tied with a bow in this Retro brooch by Coro Craft, Coro's high-end line. The matching screw-back earrings repeat the large flowers. The metal is rose-gold washed sterling silver.
