Buying from Us: All of the pieces on our website are vintage, which means they have been pre-owned and loved. Vintage pieces are rarely in “mint” condition and may show signs of age and use. We try to convey any flaws through our photographs and descriptions, so please look at our pictures and read the description, condition and size information carefully. Size is especially important for necklaces and bracelets. If you are in doubt about a piece, please e-mail or call us with your questions. We are happy to help you find the pieces that will best suit your needs.
Orders: All prices on this site are in U.S. dollars. To purchase jewelry from this site, use our secure shopping cart system. Because we are located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, appropriate taxes will be added automatically for purchases by Canadian residents.
Payment: We accept all payments through PayPal. NOTE: You do not need a PayPal account to pay us. When you check out, you will be re-routed to PayPal’s secure server, where you can use your preferred method of payment. If you have a PayPal account, you will log into PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you will be able to pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover by entering your payment information on a web page protected by PayPal. After you’ve reviewed and completed your purchase on the PayPal site, you will be able to return to the TruFaux Jewels website to print a receipt.
Shipping: Shipping is free to an address in the U.S. or Canada. If you live elsewhere, an additional $30 (U.S. currency) will be added automatically.
Returns: If you wish to return your purchase, you must contact us by e-mail within 3 days of receipt of the item and receive our return authorization. Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped, shipped back to us with insurance, and received by us within 14 days from your notice of return. We will then issue a refund via PayPal, minus a re-stocking fee of 20% of the purchase price. We do not refund return postage.
Privacy: We take your privacy very seriously. We do not collect information about you while you are browsing our site. All payment details reside on PayPal’s secure server and not on our system. We never provide any third parties with any information about our customers and site visitors.
