"STERLING" on necklace clasp
Graduated crystal disks and a faceted crystal-set sterling clasp make this 1920s Art Deco necklace a real knockout! The faceting reflects light beautifully. This necklace has substantial weight. The original screw-backs on the matching earrings were converted to sterling silver lever-backs for pierced ears by my expert jeweler. The original velvet case is included with this set. How divine!
This 1950s coral, pearl and gold brooch and earrings set by Hattie Carnegie executes one of her common themes — florals — to perfection. The enameled leaves look as though they're blowing in the breeze. The detail is superb — even the backs of the brooch and earrings show the leaves' veins. A faux pearl adds a nice accent to each piece. The brooch has a roll-over safety clasp; the earrings are clip-backs.
A single aquamarine glass stone-centered flower is surrounded by flowers and leaves applied to the ribbons of the bow that forms this sterling silver 1940s brooch by Hobé. An aquamarine glass stone is at the center of each bow-shaped earring. The detail on these pieces is a superb example of the maker's craftsmanship. The brooch has a roll-over safety clasp, and the earrings are clip-backs. The same floral motif is used in Hobé's Aquamarine & Sterling Flower Bracelet -- scroll down to see it.
This 1950s brooch and earrings set by Alice Caviness is bold and dazzling. The aurora borealis rhinestones in the gold-tone setting take on the color of the metal, catch the light and seem to dance. The starfish-shaped brooch has a roll-over safety clasp; the earrings are clip-backs. This set is perfect for an outfit in a warm color palette.
This dainty 1920s Art Deco pendant with matching earrings features faceted, princess-cut amethyst glass stones mounted in a light-weight, chromium- or rhodium-plated setting with filigree accents. The necklace has a paper-clip chain with an old-fashioned filigree clasp. The earrings are all-original screw-backs, but they can be modified for pierced ears.
