"MIRIAM HASKELL" in raised letters on oval cartouche
This 1950s bangle bracelet by Miriam Haskell has faux pearls, onyx and hematite glass beads, and diamanté woven onto a silver-tone metal frame. The combination of grey, black and white makes this piece very versatile and easy to wear. Add pearl, onyx or diamond earrings, depending on which color you wish to emphasize. The shape of the bracelet is oval, which conforms well to the wrist. This piece closes with a hidden tongue-in-groove clasp and safety chain.
Marcasite and sterling silver German Art Deco bracelets don't get much better than this one! With its classic Art Deco buckle motif, this magnificent and hard-to-find piece has excellent articulation and loads of sparkle. This substantial bracelet is an outstanding example of 1930s German craftsmanship and a real knockout! This piece was part of my personal collection, and I am reluctantly offering it to a new owner. My Czech Art Deco crystal and marcasite earrings compliment rather than compete with this bracelet — scroll down to see them -- or wear it alone to make an unforgettable statement.

A trio of layered and textured silver-tone leaves forms each section of this wide 1950s bracelet by Elsa Schiaparelli. Leaves were one of her favorite motifs, and she uses them here to create an unusual statement piece. Bold bracelets were one of this maker's trademarks. This piece has a fold-over clasp and safety chain. If you like this design, scroll down to see a brooch and earrings set by the same maker but with a different finish.
Red and black enamel decorate this chrome 1930s German Machine Age bracelet attributed to JakobBengel. (His pieces were not signed.) The articulation is superb. This bracelet closes with a spring-ring clasp. Scroll down to see one of his brickwork necklaces in the same color combination.
