Navy blue is one of the few colors that every woman can wear, all year-round. A little navy dress is a great wardrobe staple, because you can create a myriad of outfits simply by changing the accessories. In the summer, adding a lightweight jacket or cardigan paired with lightweight and colorful vintage jewelry can be a fun way to express your personality. Here are seven sets of navy dress accessories to inspire you this season.
Wear Summery Earrings
Although these outfits both feature blue earrings, they couldn’t be more different. On the left, I’ve taken a cue from the cardigan in Polka Dots to add these 1950s Earrings by Hattie Carnegie. The clusters of round beads remind me of the sweater pattern. In contrast, the lines of baguettes in the Blue Art Glass & Diamanté Art Deco Drop Earrings repeat the striped pattern in the blazer and the studs in the bag shown in Summer Workwear.

On its own, a sleeveless navy dress can take you for an Evening Out, accessorized with any color you choose. Here I’ve added these 2 ½”-long Green Bead Czech Art Deco Chandelier Earrings to set the tone. A green shawl, beaded evening bag, and navy t-straps complete the look. For another take on stripes, these Lipstick-Red Glass & Diamanté Drop Art Deco Earrings pick up the red in the cardigan with Bold Stripes. A striped handbag and navy espadrilles complete this outfit that take you to the office or just about anywhere in style. If you love red, you could repeat the color in your bag or shoes.

Wear a Summery Necklace
Fresh and Fun features this Green Bead & Chrome Art Deco Necklace and textured, silver ball earrings, which complement the textured balls in the necklace. You could wear plain silver ball studs or silver hoops, if you have them. I chose a light-green cropped cardigan, a cream bag, and navy-and-cream paisley espadrilles to complete this on- or off-duty outfit. For a dressier look for the office or out for the evening, this Golden Topaz & Citrine 1950s Necklace by Coro with the warm golden accessories is Simply Divine.

Wear a Summery Bracelet
A jacket or cardigan with bracelet-length sleeves always cries out for a wrist adornment, in my opinion. Here I’ve added this Blue Bead & Chrome Knot Machine Age Bracelet. In the 1930s, Art Deco evolved into the Streamline Modern or Machine Age style. The textured, chrome wires that form the bracelet’s knots denote this aesthetic. I found these silver knot earrings, but you could go with a silver ball or hoop instead. I think this look is simply Beautiful!
