In her report on 17 color trends she spotted at the fall/winter 2015 fashion shows, Tamar Najarian at Fashionisers.com named the last one “Fifty Shades of Brown”, stating: “Alongside the Marsala wine shade [the color of 2015], which is quite like a rich burgundy tone with touches of brown, the fall/winter 2015-2016 color trends also bring all the possible shades of brown, from chocolate brown and rust to milder brown tones, bringing warmth and comfort to your winter dressing”. These shades remind me of the East-Indian spices — cinnamon, cayenne, and curry, for example — that excite our taste buds and leave us feeling warm inside. So I’ve styled clothing and other accessories in shades of brown with jewels in these flavorful hues to help you enliven your fall/winter palette.
