Pink Tourmaline & Crystal Art Deco Chicklet-style Necklace

Faceted pink-glass triangles are separated by faceted square-cut and round crystals in this lovely variation of an Art Deco chicklet necklace. The stones are all mounted onto white metal frames. This necklace in a hard-to-find color closes with a spring-ring clasp. Although the jump ring that meets the clasp is stamped "Platinon" (which is not the same as platinum), no other marks appear on the necklace. Jakob Bengel earrings in red and black Galalith
    Jakob Bengel Machine Age earrings

Red & Black Galalith 1930s Jakob Bengel Earrings

These Jakob Bengel earrings feature raised black Galalith triangles with red Galalith slots. The chrome settings envelope the stones. A stack of chrome disks completes the design. I purchased these earrings from a Bengel expert in the UK. They came with their unmarked ear wires with lever backs for pierced ears, so I am unaware of the metal content. If you require sterling silver, a competent jeweler could switch the ear wires. Scroll down to see Jakob Bengel pieces that work beautifully with these earrings.

Ruby & Sterling Art Deco Bangle

Here is another classic Art Deco line bracelet in the form of a bangle:  square-cut deep ruby-glass stones channel-set in sterling silver with engraved edges and a safety chain. This rare bangle has great color and is wider than many. (Note: Red glass stones of this period are more rare than other colors because gold was used to make red.) I have several other ruby Art Deco pieces that coordinate well with this bangle — scroll down to see a selection.

    Ruby Chicklet 3-Strand Necklace

This vintage multi strand necklace is a variation of the chicklet-style so popular in the 1920s-1930s. Three rows of faceted, ruby-glass chicklets drape in the front, with two larger faceted ruby-glass triangles joining the three rows to the rest of the piece. The chicklets are open-back; the triangles are not. This unusual version of the classic chicklet in hard-to-find red closes with a spring-ring clasp. This necklace is probably Czech in origin.
