Amethyst & Diamanté Art Deco Bracelet

    , ,

Nine faceted, square-cut amethyst glass stones contrast beautifully with the alternating double-row trios of diamanté in this 1920s Art Deco bracelet.  The chromium- or rhodium-plated setting has decoration on the sides and backs of the amethysts. This lovely bracelet, which closes with a hidden, tongue-in-groove clasp, was made for a slim wrist.  Be sure to measure your wrist and note the bracelet length (6 5/8″) before purchase. This bracelet, which can be worn anytime and anywhere, coordinates well with many amethyst Art Deco pieces in the boutique – scroll down to see them.

Amethyst & Filigree Drop Art Deco Earrings

    , ,

Faceted pale-amethyst-glass teardrops with silver-tone filigree caps are the focal point of these stunning and elegant 1920s Art Deco earrings. A faceted diamanté sits at the ear lobe, and tiny pale amethyst glass and crystal stones as well as marcasites dot the space in between. The only flaw in these long and hard-to-find earrings is that the tiny stones are different in each earring, but who cares? In my opinion, it’s the pale amethyst drop that counts! These screw-back earrings can be modified for pierced ears. You could wear these earrings with several amethyst Art Deco pieces shown below – scroll down to see them.

    Baroque Pearl French 1950s Earrings

    , ,

Small glass round cream-colored pearls surrounding a large glass baroque pearl in the same tone form these 1950s French earrings with clip-backs. Though these earrings are unsigned, the construction (especially the clip-back mechanism) and materials are consistent with those used by Louis Rousselet. These earrings would make a lovely accessory for daytime, evening or bridal/wedding/prom wear.

Blue-Glass Flower & Diamanté French Art Deco Necklace

    , , ,

Clusters of delicate blue-glass-flower-shaped beads with white glass centers interspersed with clusters of diamanté form this gorgeous Art Deco necklace that is probably from France. Three rhinestone rondelles form the screw-in closure. This necklace has been restrung by my expert jeweler. What a knockout! Wear it with real or faux diamond stud earrings and you’ll own any room you enter!

Citrine & Sterling Filigree Art Deco Bracelet by Simmons

    , , ,

This vintage Art Deco bracelet by Simmons, a company known for their innovation, has rectangular dark-citrine-glass stones set in the center of alternating panels of sterling silver filigree. The clasp on this piece is unique and secure. This bracelet is wider than most of its filigree counterparts, which makes me think it may be an early 1930s piece. These long 1920s Art Deco earrings feature a citrine-glass stone, designed to sit at the earlobe, at the top of a chain that ends with a faceted citrine-glass bead with a tiny matching bead in between. These earrings are probably Czech in origin, are in all-original condition, and can be modified for pierced ears. The length of these earrings makes them especially elegant. You can wear these earrings with several of my Art Deco citrine necklaces and bracelets – scroll down to see them.

Crystal & Sterling Chicklet-Style Art Deco Necklace

    , , ,

Faceted clear crystal chicklets in sterling silver frames set at an angle give this Art Deco necklace a lot of class. The positioning of the stones adds to the sparkle and makes this piece unique. This necklace closes with a hidden tongue-in-groove clasp; its style makes me think this piece was produced in Japan in the late 1940s to early 1950s, one of the Art Deco Revival eras. After the war, Japan produced a lot of high-quality costume jewelry that was exported. Chicklet-style earrings and a lovely bangle that coordinate beautifully with this necklace are available – scroll down to take a look.

Crystal Bead & Sterling Art Deco Drop Earrings

    , ,

A faceted clear crystal ball hangs from a fine sterling silver chain in these dainty 1920s Art Deco earrings. The all-original screw-backs (which can be modified for pierced ears) have a framed glass stone at the earlobe. These stones appear to have darkened only because the attachment of the screw-back mechanisms does not allow the light to pass through the stones. These earrings go with everything! Scroll down to see a selection of necklaces and brooches to wear with this pair.

Three faceted square-cut crystal chicklets dangle in these charming 1920s Art Deco earrings. The all-original screw-backs (which can be modified for pierced ears) each have a diamond-shaped crystal chicklet at the earlobe. The mountings and findings may be sterling silver, but only the screw-backs are marked. Because the dangling chicklets are separated by rings, these earrings have lots of movement and light reflection. These earrings look great with many Art Deco pieces in my boutique – scroll down to see a selection.

    Crystal Dangle Earrings with Chicklets

    , ,

These crystal dangle earrings from the 1920s are absolutely gorgeous! Long and elegant, they feature square-cut and round stones in metal mounts, in what is known today as “chicklets”. Two sets of round stones dangle from the pair of square ones. As was common in the early part of the last century, the left and right earrings are complementary, to frame your face properly. These Art Deco earrings were part of my personal collection. The original screw-backs were replaced with sterling silver wires with lever backs for pierced ears by my expert jeweler. What a great pair for a wedding, special occasion, or any time you want to look classy! Scroll down to see the perfect bracelets to wear with these earrings.
