This 1930s bracelet is an outstanding German Art Deco piece. It features faceted, oblong onyx, chrysoprase, and citrine (glass?) stones individually set in a substantial sterling silver frame. From my personal collection, this bracelet exhibits the extraordinary quality of many pieces made in Germany in this era. This bracelet closes with a concealed clasp and safety chain. Vintage Bracelets, 1920s Jewelry, Unsigned JewelryThis marcasite bracelet has faceted carnelian and onyx glass stones set in sterling silver panels in an Art Deco design. This piece is an excellent example of high-quality German craftsmanship of the 1920s-1930s. Based on its width, I'm dating this bracelet to the 1920s, when bracelets were narrow and worn in multiples. This piece has a concealed clasp with a safety catch and was part of my personal collection. Scroll down to see a carnelian bracelet from the same era by Wachenheimer Bros.$ 325
Vintage Bracelets, 1930s Jewelry, Unsigned JewelryThis 1930s marcasite and onyx bracelet from Germany features faceted, rectangular stones alternating with embellished sterling links. I have always found many German Art Deco pieces especially appealing because of their high-quality design and construction. Bracelets like this one are extremely versatile for both day and evening wear. This piece was one of the first German Art Deco jewels that joined my personal collection decades ago. I was thrilled when it was chosen to walk the runway at Toronto Fashion Week for Spring 2019. You'll also see two pairs of complementary Art Deco pendant earrings.$ 395
ArchivesThis German Art Deco bracelet from my personal collection is one of the most spectacular pieces I've ever had! It has double rows of faceted, oblong carnelian stones separated by triple rows of faceted, oblong crystals. Because substantial sterling silver frames hold the stones (which may be glass), this bracelet has a double concealed clasp with safety chain. Carnelian is a beautiful color for women who look best in warm hues. A striking and extraordinary piece, this jewel definitely makes a statement!$ 895
