This bow brooch and earrings set was hand-made in sterling silver by Hobé in the 1940s. The focal point of the brooch is a flower with an aquamarine-glass-stone center. It sits atop the four-looped bow foundation of ribbons adorned with layers of buds and leaves. An aquamarine-glass stone is at the center of each bow-shaped ear clip. The detail on these sterling silver pieces is a superb example of the maker’s craftsmanship. The pin closes with a roll-over safety clasp. The same floral motif is used in a bracelet by Hobé – scroll down to see it.
