This 1940s large, layered sterling silver fan-shaped brooch is ornately detailed with leaves and bezel-set aquamarine glass stones. An aquamarine-centered tied ribbon suspends an aquamarine stone pendant. For some reason, the stone at the top is clear, but it does appear to be original. This brooch, which closes with a roll-over safety clasp, is a great example of the genius of this maker. A large aquamarine glass stone forms the center of the flower on each panel of this 1940s sterling silver bracelet by Hobé. Even the links between the panels are decorated with small flowers. The bracelet has a fold-over clasp. The same floral motif can be found in several of my brooches (some with matching earrings) by the same maker -- scroll down to see them.
