Carnelian, Jade & Pearl French Art Deco Necklace
17 1/2" x 1/2" (center bead)
"MADE IN FRANCE" on clasp
The beads in this jade and pearl necklace are flanked by beads of carnelian glass in chrome cups. The green and caramel were a popular color combination in the Art Deco era, when this piece was made in France. Large flat chrome links complete the length, which closes with a decorative screw-barrel clasp. This well-made necklace is a bit longer than most from the 1920s. Depending on which color you want to emphasize, you could wear jade or carnelian Art Deco earrings (or your own pearl studs) with this versatile necklace. Scroll down to see some options.
