Onyx & Crystal German Chicklet Necklace
15 3/4" x 1/2"
This chicklet necklace with faceted, black onyx (glass?) and crystal rectangles set in decorative frames is an exceptional find. Though unmarked, I believe this piece was made in Germany. This Art Deco classic never goes out of style and looks great with a round neckline. This necklace, which closes with a spring-ring clasp, was part of my personal collection for many, many years. Since I found out that black is not in my correct color palette, I am reluctantly offering this treasure for purchase. Scroll down to see Art Deco earrings and bracelets to wear with this necklace.

Vintage Bracelets, 1930s Jewelry, Wachenheimer Bros. JewelryThis quintessential Art Deco line bracelet was made by the renowned Wachenheimer Brothers (best known for their Diamonbar pieces). It has faceted, square-cut onyx-glass stones channel-set in sterling silver, with engraved edges and diamanté-studded clasps. This bracelet was made in two sections, with identical fold-over clasps in both places. The type of clasp dates this piece to the early 1930s, after the company stopped using their Diamonbar trademark and near the end of their production. This bracelet was made for a slim wrist, so please note the bracelet length (6 7/8") and check your wrist size before purchasing this piece. The last photo shows it along with two other line bracelets – scroll down to see their details as well as other onyx Art Deco jewels to wear with this lovely bracelet.$ 295
Vintage Earrings, 1920s Jewelry, Unsigned JewelryThree faceted, square-cut crystal chicklets dangle in these charming 1920s earrings. A diamond-shaped chicklet is set at the earlobe. These all-original screw-back earrings can be modified for pierced ears. The mountings and findings may be sterling silver, but only the screw-backs are marked. Because the dangling crystals are separated by rings, these earrings have lots of movement and light reflection. These Art Deco jewels sparkled on the runway at Toronto Fashion Week for Spring 2019. Vintage Bracelets, 1920s Jewelry, Unknown (Maker's Mark is Unknown)This onyx and silver bracelet has seven faceted, oval glass stones prong-set and mounted on oval frames joined with links. The stones are 1/4″ high and have points in the center. The setting is sterling silver with a spring-ring clasp. This well-made Art Deco piece, which is longer than most of its era, is signed. However, I can’t determine the maker’s name. Scroll down to see several onyx pieces that complement this jewel.$ 195
