Chrysoprase Art Deco Festoon Necklace
15" length; each stone is 1/8" x 1/2"
Faceted oblong chrysoprase glass stones form this elegant Art Deco festoon necklace. The stones are claw-set in silver-tone frames. The juxtaposition of a pair of vertical stones at each end of the triple strand is a nice detail. This piece closes with an older spring-ring clasp. I have chrysoprase Art Deco earrings to wear with this necklace – scroll down to take a look.

Vintage Earrings, 1920s Jewelry, Unsigned JewelryTwo faceted, oblong chrysoprase (glass?) stones with a faceted, round collet-set crystal at the bottom form these classic 1920s earrings. Each stone is separated by a ring link, so there's plenty of movement here. The original screw-backs were converted to sterling silver ear wires with lever backs for pierced ears by my expert jeweler. Note that although the open-back bottom crystals appear dark in the first photo, they are, in fact, clear and sparkly (as in the second photo).
