"STERLING 14KT HOBÉ" on brooch; "STERLING" on earring finding
Similar to design patent # 138,933 issued to William W. Hobé in 1944
This 1940s Hobédemi-parure is spectacular! The large and elaborate brooch features oval golden-topaz and round citrine-glass stones with trails of buds, flowers and leaves applied to the sterling ribbons. The gold-plated center flower and embellishments complement the stones. The brooch has a roll-over safety clasp; the matching flower earrings are screw-backs.
