This piece has large diamanté centers decorated with small diamanté set in curled, sterling silver plaques. This bracelet closes with a fold-over clasp; the safety chain is a replacement. This jewel is another wonderful example of period design and manufacture from one of the best! It and a pair of Art Deco earrings – an unexpected but splendid combination – were worn by a beautiful model on the runway at Toronto Fashion Week for Spring 2019! This Coro bracelet was an engagement gift from the former owner’s fiancé in 1945. It had remained in the family until the couple’s son sold it to me. A well-crafted Retro Modern design by Adolph Katz for Coro’s high-end line, it features aquamarine-glass-stone centers and diamanté set in gold-plated sterling silver with a fold-over clasp. The safety chain is a replacement. This piece is another wonderful example of period design and manufacture from one of the best! Crystal Chicklet Dangling 1920s Earrings

    , ,
Three faceted, square-cut crystal chicklets dangle in these charming 1920s earrings. A diamond-shaped chicklet is set at the earlobe. These all-original screw-back earrings can be modified for pierced ears. The mountings and findings may be sterling silver, but only the screw-backs are marked. Because the dangling crystals are separated by rings, these earrings have lots of movement and light reflection. These Art Deco jewels sparkled on the runway at Toronto Fashion Week for Spring 2019. Scroll down to see a selection of Art Deco pieces to complement these lovely earrings.
