A gold-plated, sterling silver tied ribbon forms the foundation of this 1940s Retro Modern brooch. On top of the bow are three stems of flowers with petals of faceted ruby, emerald, and citrine glass navettes dotted with diamanté. The largest flower has a faceted amethyst-glass center. A leaf at the top completes the bouquet. This colorful, complex piece was designed by Adolph Katz for Coro’s high-end line. The pin closes with a roll-over safety clasp. The variety of stones makes this brooch extremely versatile. Note that bright areas on the piece are only camera reflections.
