German utility patent # 1138525 issued to Schreiber & Hiller in 1930
This sapphire brooch has three curved links of diamanté between each one with blue-glass stones. At 3” long, this wonderful Art Deco piece is a quarter-inch-high half-dome backed by a flat metal plate. This lovely 1930s bar brooch closes with a roll-over safety clasp. Schreiber & Hiller Jewelry, Vintage Bracelets, 1930s JewelryThis sapphire and diamanté bracelet was made in Germany in the 1930s. Of all of the tank-track bracelets in the group by this maker, this piece is the only one with two colors. The long, narrow links with engraved edges are trapezoid in shape when viewed from the side. This Art Deco bracelet closes with a concealed clasp and safety catch. Although some stones have aged, they don't appear cloudy in the way my camera depicts them. This piece still shines!
