Sapphire & Diamanté Bracelet by Schreiber & Hiller
Schreiber & Hiller
7 1/4" x 1/4"
Very good (see description)
German utility patent # 1138525 issued to Schreiber & Hiller in 1930
This sapphire and diamanté bracelet was made in Germany in the 1930s. Of all of the tank-track bracelets in the group by this maker, this piece is the only one with two colors. The long, narrow links with engraved edges and channel-set stones are trapezoid in shape when viewed from the side. This Art Deco bracelet closes with a concealed clasp and safety catch. Although some diamantés have aged, they don’t appear cloudy in the way my camera depicts them. This piece still shines! Scroll down to see a matching brooch.
