These blue costume earrings feature translucent poured glass in a delicately-detailed gold-tone setting. The design is timeless and versatile! These 1950s ear clips were one of the Hattie Carnegie creations chosen by the designer to walk the runway at Toronto Fashion Week for Spring 2019. He paired them with an Art Deco necklace in a similar blue worn by a model in a black-and-white houndstooth evening gown. I confess that I was both surprised and delighted with this choice, and the audience was definitely pleased. Although that necklace is no longer available, scroll down to see a similar piece.

Sapphire Chicklet & Enamel 1920s Necklace
Vintage Necklaces, 1920s Jewelry, Unsigned JewelryThis faux sapphire necklace has faceted, square-cut, blue-glass chicklets alternating with glass stones molded in a step pattern. The result is an Art Deco classic. The two blue-enamel links on each end make me think this piece is European in origin. This necklace closes with a spring-ring clasp. The original silver-tone finish is worn in places on the piece, so much of the brass is showing. Because the focus is the gorgeous blue stones, this slight blemish doesn't detract in any way from the beauty of this jewel. This elegant necklace is versatile and timeless, and from my personal collection.USD$345.00
